Hello, sorry for the late post I was supposed to start this a couple days ago as a response to a fan’s question, but, I became quite busy…Anyways without further ado, I will begin with an introduction and some main points on the subject of marketing.
All of the information that I will be lecturing about is all the information/skills that I’ve accumulated over the past 3 years from school and work at Leef & Co. 2 years ago, I became certified in Marketing, from Orange Coast College, by Dennis Morgan. He is a very great mentor, I learned plenty of life-tips and of course, marketing. As for Leef & Co. I am their Art Director, and I get to do quite a lot of fun stuff designing in the industry…
Lets begin! So…what, exactly is marketing? Marketing is a concept, the most important part of this concept is the application of it. THAT is the key…you want to identify the need and the way to satisfy it, rather than create the need and satisfy it. Think about this…if nobody will pay for it, then it’s stupid. Give the people what they want.
They call it the 4 P’s. Also known as the marketing mix, consisting of the following:
These are the only controllable factors, determine these four items and you will have a blueprint of what you need to do for what you are selling or starting up. Lets use Rolling Thunder for an example, the product? Lets say I make stickers and shirts. Place, currently marketing worldwide as I use the blog as a gallery for everyone to read & enjoy. Price, that will determine on the supply & demand of the good. Lastly, for promotion how do I promote? Well I use the gallery itself to promote, or stickers on my car to promote Rolling Thunder. It’s like advertising.
I love you guys…just wanted to do a little s/o to you followers and my fam. Without you guys none of this would have happened. Thank you guys for all the support over the years, 2014 is gonna be one hell of a year. Catch the Rolling Thunder crew at Formula D Round 1 in Long Beach, we will finally be coming out of our shell and be showcasing at the Fatlace Offset Kings area of the event.
Saturday April 5th, hope you all can come out and join us!
Also I got another message about marketing tips and how to get yourself out there…so I decided I will just do a mini seminar tomorrow till Friday on some tips that I have learned over the years to aid you guys in pursuing your design/marketing dreams.
Yesterday, after the illest OC meet, Hawaii came out and kicked it. Racesauce and Jspirit hosted a nice welcoming meet with the usual homies. I came a little late cause of work…so I missed some of my friends but still a few from Royal Origin were there. I love these kind of meets where fellow automotive enthusiasts from out of state, come out and kick it. It’s great to build connections and make friends. For example, it was nice to meet @sarachoii!!! Also some guys from Motormavens and Super Street Magazine haha.
It was originally at work but the lot there got packed quick so they headed to the OG back up spot, M&M donuts.
Chillin with Kentaro over here. LOL the only picture I took at the meet cause I was too busy kickin’ it with the homies. On the bright side, my car is #sarachoiiapproved coming from a fellow s2k owner that made my night haha.
Also s/o to the homie Minh and Royal Origin always good times kickin it with them.
If it wasn’t for my father and my uncle I probably wouldn’t be so interested in this automotive scene. I remember back when I was fourteen, I went to my first Hot Import Nights in LA with my uncle, after seeing that whole scene I was speechless, I saw Misa Campo…who still is super hot, some dope cars and back then they played a lot of techo and rap. Now along with that, I experienced street racing at a young age because of my father and uncle, I was just told to never tell my mother about that stuff lol. But sadly, all good things come to an end. My uncle who is now married with a son, had to sell his pride and joy. This tuned Mini was a real fun car and will definitely be missed.
OG rally vibe with the fog’s up on the grille.
Something pretty cool was because my uncle was a Honda guy, he took his Volk TE37 Time Attack’s from his civic and slapped them on the Mini haha.
My uncle is a very spirited driver always doing time attack events so he wasn’t down for the low low. Just a functional drop, where his car actually rode smooth unlike my s2k lol.
Sad to see this car go, it was even faster than my s2k…supercharged & tuned this car was definitely like a go kart.
